I see that our last blog post was in May. There’s a lot to report since our last update. First of all, the first half of the new sites were completed in the fall and have been in use since then. The remaining sites will be completed by the end of March. We have experienced various delays, so we look forward to completion. I cannot even begin to describe the spectacular view from these sites.

Last fall, we hired a management couple to oversee the park. We knew we wanted a couple who would carry on the southern hospitality and customer service that we have offered our customers over the years. We were very particular in who we wanted as the face of Ozark View RV Park. We could not be happier with our management team, Cicero and Teresa Poole. What a tremendous blessing they have been. To know them is to love them!

Having managers to oversee the park has allowed us to move offsite (just up the road). In turn, our home at the entrance of the park is now a short-term rental. It is listed on Airbnb, VRBO, Evolve, Trip Advisor, and various other booking sites. It can also be rented directly from our website.

Earlier this week, the power company came out and put up the power pole. Since then, it has rained every day. It’s hard not to get frustrated when we have people waiting on these new sites. However, we know that it will move quickly once we have some dry weather. We just keep reminding ourselves that we are on the home stretch. They are close to completion, and they are going to be fantastic sites with an AMAZING view!

We are off to a great new year! We have two very exciting announcements to share with you.

First of all, we are adding sites! Dirt work was recently started for the addition of 12 new sites. This last year was the busiest we have had since we bought the park 8 years ago. Therefore, we felt the need to expand. These new sites are going to have an amazing view! Be on the lookout for updated photos soon.

The second announcement is that we FINALLY have online reservation software! You can now go online, check availability, and reserve your own site. We are very excited about this. It is sure to make things easier on us and our customers as well. Of course, you are still always welcome to call for reservations or questions. This is just another was to make things easier and provide a convenient way to reserve a site.

Wow! It’s been awhile since we have done a blog post…years, in fact (which will not happen again). Life has been extremely busy at the RV park, with many exciting changes. We have a brand new sign. Kastle Graphics did a fantastic job on the design. We are very pleased. Quite some time back (since I last blogged), Brandon added 13 new sites to the park. God has blessed us to such a degree that there is actually a need for additional sites, which is a real possibility in the near future. Brandon has been incredibly busy with RV repairs. He has also started buying and selling campers. Tony, Shelby, and Mr. Tom have been working very hard to keep the grounds and flower beds looking beautiful. I am excited to share that I will be retiring early from teaching and joining Brandon full time at the RV park. I can’t wait to be more involved in helping Brandon run the park.

Exciting Things in the Future

It has been quite some time since we have updated our blog. We have been incredibly busy. Brandon has been in the process of constructing a shop building. All we have left to make the shop complete is getting the doors on the building. I will be posting pictures soon. We are very excited about the addition of this new building at the park. This will allow Brandon to do some minor service work for our RVers.

After the shop is complete, our next project will be adding sites to the park. We plan to have approximately 10 new sites ready for fall, which is our busiest time of year. It is so exciting to see our business grow as it has. God has blessed us and we are so very thankful. We have had steady business so far this year with several reservations for summer and into the fall. It is shaping up to be our best year yet.

I recently added new photos to our photo gallery. Be sure to check those out. We have added some excellent pictures of RV sites, some of our flowers, and a few of the critters around the park. These are just a few of the things that make our park so special. It truly is a quiet retreat. We hope to see you soon!

We have had a very busy and exciting few weeks at Ozark View. We have had record numbers of RVers and have even had a full park for a few nights. It’s amazing to look back and realize how much our business has grown in the short time that we have owned the park.

When we bought the RV park two and a half years ago, it had been closed for quite some time. The grass was waist high and there was a ton of work to be done. We knew that a little TLC could bring Ozark View back to its prime. We are pleased that we have been able to restore Ozark View to what it once was and have even been able to continue improvement projects along the way. We have plans for expansion and continued improvements. These are exciting times. We are definitely happy campers!!

Hot Summer Days

We have had a mild summer up to this point. However, the last few days have been true summer days with high temperatures and humidity. Despite the heat, we have continued to work on making our RV park even better. Brandon has been installing a completely new WIFI system to accommodate our increased business. Additionally, we have been blessed with a wonderful couple who have helped us this summer with keeping the flowerbeds and grounds beautiful. We owe a HUGE thank you to Frank and Mary Ulch. They have been a tremendous blessing to us. I must also mention that we have an extremely talented photographer in the RV Park. He has taken some incredible pictures, including the one in this blog post. Thank you, Tony Partrige, for allowing us to share your amazing photos on our website and Facebook pages.

We have had record numbers this summer and it looks like fall will be no different. We already have several reservations lined out and continue to receive calls daily from those interested in making reservations. Fall is always our busiest time of year. We are excited to watch our business continue to grow. To say that we feel blessed is an understatement.

Spring Has Sprung!

The dogwood trees are in full bloom, along with several spring flowers. We have been working in the flower beds, and Brandon has already started mowing grass. We love this time of year. Everything is coming to life and turning beautiful. We have been getting quite a few reservations for spring and summer. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store in the months ahead.
